Exercise Equipment

Strength training provides significant functional benefits and improvement in overall health and well-being. Strength training uses free weights, resistance training and your own body weight to work all the major muscle groups. Bodyweight exercises focus on using your own body weight to provide resistance rather than the use of of machinery or equipment. These exercises are a simple, effective way to improve balance, flexibility, and strength.

  • Dumbbells

    Dumbbells are free weights used in weight training. Used individually or in pairs to strengthen arm, shoulder and back muscles.

  • Kettlebells

    Kettlebells are cast iron weights resembling a cannon ball with a handle. They are used for ballistic exercises that combine cardiovascular, strength, and flexibility training.

  • TRX Bands

    TRX bands are suspension training equipment that can be used to target every muscle group in the entire body.

  • Resistance Bands

    The Resistance band are used to increase range of motion and movement. They offer constant tension on your muscles during the entire concentric and eccentric portions of the movement.

  • Bosu Ball

    Bosu ball is a essentially half of a stability ball that sits on the ground. It is used to test the balance and stability during certain exercises. Bosu can also be used for increasing flexibility or getting a killer cardio workout.

  • Medicine Ball

    The medicine ball is a very versatile tool that can be used for a variety of exercises for stability and core strengthening.

About Me

Sgt. Rud's personal training workouts are based on several types of proven non-conventional training methods such as kettlebells and TRX bands. I tailor individual workouts for you to achieve each of your personal goals. Of course, I have witnessed clients lose weight and build muscle. One of my personal favorites was helping my client (who is diabetic) reduce their daily diabetes medications from five to just one.

Our first consultation will take about 45 minutes.  During that time, we will go over your goals, current workout plan, limitations and anything else that will pertain to your training.
